I personally love this book because it is all about celebrating the joy that adoption brings to families. In the story, the family has an Adoption Day celebration each year. In my family, Adoption Day is referred to as "Gotcha Day." My whole family goes to Fuddruckers, which is the very first restaurant they ever took me to and everyone says "Gotcha!" throughout the evening. (Cheesy, I know... but I love it! It's tradition!) I especially love how much my family cherishes this day because even when I lived out of state, my parents flew to Utah for Gotcha Day as they didn't want to miss a year of celebrating. They took all of my friends to Fuddruckers there and celebrated as a big happy family of friends!
